Well, it's getting better.
After several conversations with kindly Dr. Shapiro (who is sometimes referred to as "Dr. Dreamy"), it looks like Lucy has some acid reflux going on. She's been increasingly fussy during feedings, they found a small amount of blood in her poop, and she's been out of sorts for a little while now. Sarah's been put on a restrictive diet to help determine if it's the breast milk that's causing the sensitivity.
If that isn't it, not sure what our next move is. Whatever happens, I'm confident that it'll all work out and, years from now, we'll remember when Lucy was almost two months old and how there was this thing with the doctor....
We're excited that my brother Matt, his wife Kelly, and their three-year-old daughter Annie are visiting for the weekend. Annie's birthday is just around the corner and, according to the word on the street, there may be a special visit to the Zoo lined up for the birthday girl. We shall see.
