Out and about.
Lucy, Chris and I went to an outdoor mall in Glendale the other day. (I thought it was time for me to post a picture of me, for novelty's sake.) It was a pretty day and Lucy went without shoes and socks! Wheeeee! She liked riding in the umbrella stroller and wearing her cool reversible hat to keep the sun off of her face. At lunch, she sampled some of my whole wheat bun and some avocado from Chris' Cobb salad. It's funny to be able to feed her food from our plates when only months ago, I was worried about giving her a little bit of formula. Now it's spinach and lentils and sweet potatoes and anything else I can get her to try. Time flies.
C'mon, I had to post this picture! We were remembering last night that she used to hate the bath and these days when it's time to get in, she kicks her legs and squeals.
Lucy's got a new uncle!
On their way to their Hawaiian Honeymoon, my sister, Leigh, and her brand new husband, Damian, stopped off in LA to hang with us and snuggle with Lucy. We took them to see the classic cars at Bob's Big Boy in Burbank on Friday night, and had some brunch at Hugo's Saturday morning. Sadly, no celebrity sightings, other than the beautiful newlywed couple and my daughter in their lap.
Have a great trip!

Lucy's got a special message for everybody!

Another day, another tooth.
Lucy woke up from a particularly hard night last week, with a new tooth and a new scratch! She was so happy though youda never known anything went down. Aside from her Dad, Lucy is the happiest person I've ever met. The first picture is Luce with said scratch and new tooth (We're working on a picture of the teeth. She may always be in a good mood, but prying her lips open to photograph her new teeth? Now that's another matter.) The second, is Lucy modeling a hat that once belonged to Chris. She's so game for anything and I think this picture shows it. Want me to model a hat with a jaunty chin strap? Happily? Of course!
